Welcome to A Crown of Roses

The word Rosary means "Crown of Roses." Our Lady has revealed to several people that each time they say a Hail Mary they are giving her a beautiful rose, and that each complete Rosary makes her A Crown of Roses.

The Rosary is a form of vocal and mental prayer on the Mysteries of our redemption, divided into fifteen decades.  The recitation of each decade is accompanied by meditation on one of the fifteen events or mysteries.  The mysteries consist of four groups. With the Rosary, we meditate on the Mysteries of Joy, of Sorrow, the Glory of Jesus, and the new Luminous Mysteries which the Holy Father Pope John Paul II added in October 2002.  Since the rose is the queen of flowers, so the Rosary is the queen of all devotions.  The Holy Rosary is considered a perfect prayer because within it lies the awesome story of our salvation. Reciting the Rosary is one of the most powerful weapons against evil.

All of my keepsake Rosaries are skillfully handcrafted with the finest crucifix's, centers, and Rosary parts available and are made with heirloom quality that will last for generations.  Your flowers are handled with the utmost care and respect and I count myself blessed to be able to handcraft a memorable keepsake that will be enjoyed and cherished for generations.

I handcraft the traditional 5-Decade Dominican Chaplet, commonly known as the Rosary, although there are many different Rosary configurations. Each of the beads are capped with elegant filigree bead caps which add to their beauty and heirloom quality. 

With many years of being a Rosary artisan, it is with the support and encouragement of family and friends to make my Rosaries available to all.  Handcrafting Rosaries is a ministry.  With each Rosary that I craft, I give honor to our Blessed Mother, and most importantly, give the Glory to God, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am a lifelong practicing Catholic with a special devotion to our Blessed Mother through the rosary.  In service to the Body of Christ, I am the Vice President and interim Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council of my parish, a Eucharistic Minister and a Cathechist in our Family Faith Formation program. 

At A Crown of Roses, our service is about quality, not quantity.

~Traditional Chain Rosaries~

 Rosaries are available in your choice of silver-tone, gold-tone or Sterling Silver.  The Rosary consists of 53 Ave beads, 6 Our Father beads, one center, and one crucifix*.
